Welcome 2019!

So much new and exciting in 2018! Tried live streaming video for the first time–and then started doing a regular show with my friend Yaron Brook. A few more appearances on Tucker Carlson Tonight, including one in-studio where I got to meet him and Dave Rubin in person for the first time. Got certified in European privacy law, spoke on a couple panels at OCON, rewrote one chapter of my book and started on another. And I got to play tour guide for my boyfriend here in So. Cal., after he did the same for me in Amsterdam.

On the agenda so far for 2019: finish my book and publish it; earn another certification from IAPP; my first visit to Scotland; relearn chess & learn a new language. I’m looking forward to doing more shows with Yaron, and maybe some more media appearances–perhaps on privacy law and policy, even? Will give it my best shot!

Hope you all are enjoying your holidays with friends and loved ones. My best to you for a joyful, prosperous new year, and thank you for your support!

Yes, we are in the age in which reputable media outlets (here the NYT) are seriously considering the question whether it would be good if the human race went extinct. This story and more on today’s show. See Program Notes, below, for all the stories, etc., I plan to discuss with Yaron.

The show will be broadcast live via streaming video on Yaron’s YouTube Channel as well as on his show’s Facebook page here.

Yaron and Amy: “SQUIRREL! Trump Threatens Government Shutdown if Border Wall Isn’t Funded,” TODAY at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT)

Both Yaron and I can appreciate a good shutdown, in the right context. But today we see Trump in a very public showdown with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, not because he wants to hold the line on government spending and debt, but because he wants money to fund a YUGE infrastructure project, his wall, which is very popular with his base. I suspect that, in doing this, Trump is trying to distract us from more important issues, and so I suggest we focus on some of those in today’s show. See Program Notes, below, for all the stories, etc., I plan to discuss with Yaron.

The show will be broadcast live via streaming video on Yaron’s YouTube Channel as well as on his show’s Facebook page here.

UPDATE: ICYMI, you can watch the full episode here:

And, as a teaser, find out what Yaron’s official position on Pineapple Pizza is here:
