Amy. You said at the beginning of the show that the Founders were mostly Deists. What is your proof for this claim. Many of the founders were quite religions, such as Roger Sherman, Charles Carroll, Patrick Henry, and John Witherspoon.
Here is a post I found on the subject, which indicates that Franklin and Jefferson, hardly traditional religious believers, should not be called deists.
