Another really excellent analysis, Amy; you don’t miss a trick. And this room of mine is a bloody mess, with scraps–“shreds”–all over the place…. Amongst all of the man’s insane blather, what I, FWIW, found most appalling was the notion of the government (further) “involving” itself in “pre-school education.” As if the untold havoc that has already been wreaked on education were not enough! This new “proposal” is like a shot of poison for a patient already in the throes of death. Truly a sad and rather frightening prospect; I only hope it’s stillborn.

    • Thanks, jayeldee. Yes, there’s no surer way to destroy something than to have government undertake to “improve access” to it. And worse: imagine a day when government starts making *preschool* compulsory. This reminds me to try & get C Bradley Thompson for an interview. Soon.

I notice an entry in your “Follow Me on Twitter” sidebar, there…. Have you got Mr. Gutfeld “following you,” then?! … Apparently so–and if so, what a coup: an inroad to FOX, and the mass media. That’s where reason–and mellifluousness–will get you. (I, by the way, see nothing particularly objectionable about unicorn collecting. Though it may be suspect.)
