Don't Let It Go 
This is the fourth time Herman Cain has flip-flopped on an issue. It is hard to support a guy that can’t seem to make up his mind. Unfortunately, all the other candidates are worse.
I’m with you, David. However bad Cain is, he does seem to be the least corrupted and least corruptible, and if the standard is “Who will hurt the country least?” I think the answer is Cain.
It seems to me that new taxes and increasing the revenue (and spending) of the federal government will hurt the country a great deal.

Seems like Cain has a glimmer of a hint of a glue about individual rights and the proper role of government. Plus he actually had a career in which he had to produce something and get results.
His previously reported comment on the electric fence was stupid. If, as President, he was confronted with the argument from American producers that we need some people with the courage to walk across a desert or a river to come and harvest crops and milk cows, I suspect/hope he would come up with a more rational view of immigrants.

The issue was raised as to whether or not the OWS protesters might be “reachable”. This video casts doubt on that possibility, at least in some cases.
I am reminded of the 2nd Demos-ARI debate” in which Binswanger participated. His opponent simply could not (if you give him the benefit of the doubt) comprehend the concept of coercion: if “we” democratically decide something “as a society” then not only is enforcing that decision not coercion but the idea of anyone dissenting is inconceivable so such enforcement could never possibly occur. There really is no common ground with people like this.
