Since you are having trouble with the sound, etc., perhaps a site like the one used by Dr. Leonard Peikoff for his podcasts would be more appropriate, although I do not know if you can have converstaions with callers with his particular setup or if a setup like his can be tailor-made to fit your needs.
In any case I like the title of your program, the program itself and I love the
sound of your voice.
Thanks very much, Robert. I think Leonard just records his podcast, and then uploads it. I use the platform so people can attend live and I can format it as much as possible like a real radio show. It’s not perfect, but it’s also the only platform I could find that would do what I want and be manageable in terms of cost (it’s all out-of-pocket at this point).
By the way, I think the sound problem near the end of the show was on Yaron’s end, since it involved only his sound and everyone else seemed fine. Not sure what it was, though. Something with his mic, perhaps, because I think he said he heard us fine as well.

I really enjoyed the interview.
However, about Ron Paul Yaron was only accurate about 2 things.
1) He is a friend of Lew Rockwell. [However, the guilt by association implication that he is an anarchocapitalist is certainly not true.]
2) He is dismayingly inarticulate. [Curiously, this seems to be a symptom of his age. If you google 25 year old videos of Ron Paul you will find that when he was younger he was quite articulate.] But this means that his appeal is clearly in the ideas he expresses not in his glibness.
It is simply false, and very unjust, to charge him with not being an advocate of individual rights. In fact, upholding individual rights is, perhaps, his most frequent and conspicuous and intransigent position.
Paul may not express his support for a free society in the principled objectivist terms that I would prefer and he certainly has many other lamentable defects (which Yaron did not know to mention) but, nevertheless, he is qualitatively superior to any other contemporary politician. Reagan was not all that great and niether would Paul be, but he would be far better than Reagan was. With Paul, at least, the issues that do matter would be on the table.
