Don’t Let It Go…Unheard this Sunday

Do you plan to be here after the “rapture”? Well, every Sunday I conduct a live webcast in which I discuss news and politics from the perspective of Ayn Rand’s philosophy, Objectivism. This Sunday, if you are still here, you are welcome to join in, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., PST.

If you join in live, you’ll have the ability to communicate with me via text chat and also via audio either by using a USB mic connected to your computer (VoIP) or by phone. Click here to register.

You can use this thread to suggest topics or ask questions you’d like to hear discussed. Here are the topics that have been on my radar so far this week: When Obama promised more “transparency” did he mean that our personal lives should be more “transparent” to him? Should Newt Gingrich just switch parties and be done with it? What should we do about Pakistan?

What has gotten your attention this week?

[Update: Given what Obama said about Israel, is Ron Paul’s non-interventionism looking better all the time?]

“City Limits” Time Lapse Video

If you haven’t already seen it, here’s Dominic Boudreault’s “City Limits” timelapse video (you can also watch it on his web site):

Timelapse – The City Limits from Dominic on Vimeo.

The music (I believe it’s called, appropriately enough, “Time”) comes from the movie, “Inception,” and, at least to me, is quite haunting. It occurred to me after watching this video that the track might be good background music for the run of the John Galt line in “Atlas Shrugged,” but then I thought it might be a spoiler of sorts.

What do you think?
