“Is Half a Loaf Better Than None?” TODAY at 3 p.m. ET (12 p.m. PT)

Based on what I’m reading, Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch, is about as good as we might expect–although far from perfect. The “half a loaf” saying could also be applied to Trump’s executive order on immigration, although that seems even more problematic than the Gorsuch pick. These stories and more on today’s show.

“Taking Stock on Atlas Shrugged Day 2016,” Today at 3 p.m. ET (12 p.m. PT)

Ayn Rand began writing her magnum opus, ATLAS SHRUGGED, on this day in 1946. It’s a good day to take stock of how much life continues to imitate–or even go beyond–what Rand dramatized in her novel.
