Today I tried a show in the “News Sandwich” format. Not familiar with the format? Watch or listen to the show to learn what it is, and let me know what you think!
The show is also available as an audio podcast via BlogTalk and iTunes, etc. Here’s the BlogTalk link.
The GOP leadership orchestrated a vote on a 2,200-plus-page bill to fund the government (not really a budget?) to the tune of $1.3 trillion–within 48 hours of its release! Almost no one was able to read it before voting on it, and it’s doubtful Trump really knew what he was signing. Senator Rand Paul tweeted out over 600 pages of it, informing us of plenty of provisions that will, no doubt, encourage the proliferation of various swamp flora and fauna.
This raises the question:
Was it really ever about draining the swamp? Or was it more a matter of, “Your swamp, or mine?”
There are a couple other issues in the news to which this question applies, unfortunately. See Program Notes, below, for all the stories, etc., I’ve lined up to discuss with Yaron.
Enjoy this series of shows with Yaron? Have you checked out my own shows? If you like my work, I’d love to have you as a Patron on my Patreon page here.

A small group of congressional leaders have negotiated a 2,232 page, $1.3 trillion bill to fund the government completely behind closed doors, giving Congress less than 48 hours to review it. I will absolutely be voting no. https://t.co/HwBbfl3J87
Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.
Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!
Just posted a clip from an interview I did with former UN Ambassador John Bolton on June 12, 2013. The clip focuses on Bolton’s evaluation of Snowden and the NSA programs Snowden revealed just weeks before this interview. It may give you some idea of what to expect from Bolton as National Security Advisor. In particular, Bolton values “democratic legitimacy” over individual judgement, and believes that foreign aggressors are a bigger danger to the United States than our own government.
Any help you can give me sharing this interview clip is greatly appreciated!
