Should Atlas Shrugged Be Required Reading in Government Schools? What Do You Think of the “Surprise” That Awaits Us in Part III of the Atlas Shrugged Movie? And more, today at 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. ET)

TOPICS: China eclipses U.S. as biggest trading nation, PLUS is the largest foreign holder of U.S. debt today.

Then: Should Atlas Shrugged be required reading in government schools? Is that the way we can get out of this mess our country is in?

And, speaking of Atlas Shrugged, we’ll discuss the “surprise” promised in Part III of the movie, announced this week by producer John Aglioloro.

And more. Listen live and call in — or join the live chat! “See” you there!

No Podcast This Week; David Allen Interview Scheduled for Early April!

Your host has a hefty helping of cold virus with a side of laryngitis this weekend. Between that and competing with Superbowl Sunday, I decided to take the day off. The podcast will return next week at the regular time, 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. ET).

But I do have an exciting announcement to share this week: David Allen, author of Getting Things Done, has agreed to be interviewed for the podcast in early April! Yes, he is booked that far out! But this gives us all a chance to re-read (or read) his book and review Rand’s epistemology (also here), because I plan to discuss with him intersection of the two. (Feel free to suggest questions along these lines in the comment section to this post.)

Enjoy the Superbowl if you plan to watch, and have a great week!
